Automated Management of Minerals and Eliminates Stagnant Water

1) Mineral Management

Removing minerals on a regular interval chosen by the contractor / homeowner: 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours. Test cycle is initiated by pressing mode button for 3 seconds. Auto Flush valve remains open for approximately 90 seconds and will drain approximately 1 gallon of water for each drain cycle. This companion product will minimize the amount of maintenance that the humidifier system will have. An annual cleaning of the humidifier system is still recommended to clean any minerals that may have still adhered to the discs.

2) Eliminate Stagnant Water

Eliminates possibility of standing (stagnant) water. This is important from an indoor air quality perspective. Draining the system at a minimum of once each 2 days minimizes the possibility of molds and bacteria ever getting a chance to grow. It will not eliminate the possibility but it will minimize it. Our air quality expert advised us that this maximum timing of draining the system once every second day was important. Some strains of bacteria colonys have a better chance of growing if water remains stagnant for longer than that period.

3) Customer Satisfaction

Higher customer satisfaction levels with the Desert Spring humidifier systems are anticipated where the Auto Flush is used. Minimal mineral buildup, minimal maintenance, high performance without sacrificing water efficiency. Reports from the field i.e. from HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) contractors is that very few people actually remember to maintain their humidifier systems... similar to many people forgetting to look after their furnace filters.... the result is that filters become clogged, performance drops and energy consumption goes up. The Auto Flush companion creates a system that will look after itself.

4) Water Efficiency

System will only use approximately 1 gallon of water with each flush. On the 48 hour drain cycle this would mean only 1/2 gallon is wasted daily. Still a huge gain over water wastage associated from flow though humidifier systems which may use up to 150 gallons of wasted water daily.

Desert Springs Products guarantees its products for one year from the date of original purchase against defect in workmanship or materials. During the guarantee period, simply return your unit to the place of purchase, together with your proof-of-purchase.

This guarantee does not apply if the damage occurs because of accident, improper handling or operation abuse/misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted, or use of the product in commercial service.
